More and more attention is being given to meditation and its many benefits such as: stress and anxiety management, better sleep, blood pressure reduction, pain control, reduction of menopausal symptoms, overall better mental health, increased focus, more presence in daily life, and an increased sense of overall wellbeing (who couldn’t use that?).* Experience the power of a meditation practice in your own life through this special 30 Day Meditation Immersion.
The 30-Day Meditation Immersion is a self-paced online course to help you incorporate a meditation practice into your daily rhythm. You will be introduced to the basic concepts of meditation, given guidance on how to create a meditation practice at home, and have a chance to explore a variety of guided meditations ranging from about 5 to 20 minutes!
When you start the course, you will receive introductory material and meditation guidance to get you started. Each day, you will be given access to a new meditation practice (30 total pre-recorded meditations). Practices will include working with more physical aspects of ourselves to more subtle aspects including the body, breath, heart, emotions, thoughts, and awareness. You can make your way through the meditation practices at your own pace. At the end of the course you will receive guidance for continuing a meditation practice on your own. Content will be accessed through the Teachable platform and you will receive a daily email with the link to that day’s meditation.
The course will also include four short yoga asana practices (one each week) and one short restorative yoga practice to complement your meditation practices. A dedicated Facebook group will also be available to share your experiences and receive support and community connection! Additionally, there will be 2 live Zoom calls for any questions and to practice together! You will have access to the course content for six months.
This immersion is for you if you:
· Are new to meditation and would like guidance on how to start
· Have tried to meditate and didn’t enjoy it or didn’t think you were doing it “right”
· Have a meditation practice and want to explore some other techniques and/or re-inspire your practice
· Want help in making meditation a daily habit

About Your Guide
Laura Spriggs Thompson, E-RYT500, YACEP has been a dedicated practitioner of yoga since 2000 and teacher since 2004. Laura shares yoga to help empower her students to find their own strength (inner and outer), balance (on and off the mat), flexibility (of body and mind), and connection to their inner radiance and the sacredness of life. Laura enjoys the physical practice of yoga, but especially loves exploring the subtler aspects of yoga including meditation, pranayama, mantra, mudra, and self-inquiry. She considers herself to be a life-long learner and loves to spend time with her family (husband, two daughters, and Great Pyrenees rescue), cooking, hiking, and traveling. Laura is excited to be your guide on this 30-day meditation journey!
