Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that induces a state of deep relaxation between wakefulness and sleep. It uses techniques like body scanning and imagery to promote relaxation. It's also known as "yogic sleep" or "effortless relaxation".

How it works

Practitioners lie down while a teacher guides them through the session

The practice involves moving awareness from the external world to the internal

The practice includes a rotation of consciousness, where awareness is systematically moved around the body

The practice also includes breath awareness, where practitioners focus on their natural breathing
