In this five-week series, you will journey deeper yourself through the practice of Yoga Nidra. Each session will focus on one of the five great elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether), with exploration through discussion, reflection, a bit of easy movement, breath work, and mantra to prepare for the Yoga Nidra practice.
Yoga Nidra is a meditative practice derived from the ancient traditions of yoga. It is often done while lying down and is accessible to all levels (with or without yoga experience). During the practice, you are guided into a deep state of relaxation on all levels of your being, while maintaining a sense of awareness. Yoga Nidra has been shown to have many positive effects such as helping with stress, depression, anxiety, sleep, a variety of physical health parameters, mindfulness and overall quality of life.
